Deep groove ball bearings are rigid non separable radial
bearings. Their balls are guided in deep running grooves in the inner and the outer rings. Single-row deep groove ball-bearings can carry both high radial and high axial loads. They have the highest speed limits of all types of bearings. If operating conditions are considered to be normal, the permissible deflection from the central position may be 7'to 15' according to radial clearance.

Self-aligning Ball Bearings are duble-row non-separable
bearings with a spherical raceway in the outer ring. They are thus adjustable in an angle and shaft deflections and misalignment are permissible up to 4° from the central position. The AFK standerd production pogramme includes both cylindrical bore and taperbore self aligning ball bearings, tapered bore bearings can be mounted either directly on taperedshaft seats or on cylendrical shaft with adapter sleeves. Self aligning ball bearings with extended inner rings (series 1200 & 1300 )are sutable for mounting on solid drown shaft. with such inner ring the deviation of the bearings bore is with in tolerance class F7. |

Cylendrical roller bearings are separable radial bearings. The line contact between rollers and raceways is modified, thus eliminating edge stressing. The radial load carryying capacity and the speed limit are very high. The permissible angular deflaction from the central possition amount 2 to 4. The various types of cylendrical roller bearings are determinated by the arrangement of the lips. Type N has two lips on the inner ring and a lipless outer ring. Type NU is characterized by two lips on the outer ring and a lipless inner ring.
