Spherical roller bearings are double row non separable bearings with a spherical raceway in the outer ring. They are thus adjustable in an angle. Shaft deflaction and misalignments are permissible up to 0.5° from the central position. The standard production programme includes spherical roller bearings with both cylendrical and tapered bore. Tapper bore bearings can either be mounted directly on tapered shaft seats or with adapter sleeves on cylindrical shafts. Limiting loads may result in lubrication problems in the case of larger bearings. Such bearings should thus be provided With a lubricating groove and several lubricating holes in the outer ring.
